Unlocked after reaching Player level 10 and Command Center lvl 3. Europe and North Africa are the only countries available for now.
Resource deposits can be used to mine Metal and Thorium in the War Zones. They spawn randomly in either small (2 hex range) or big (3 hex range). It can be hard to distinguish between Metal and Thorium when zoomed out. Other than PvP, it is the only source of Thorium available.
